House of Representatives Appoints Hanan Rozak as Deputy Chair of Commission IV
The House of Representatives (DPR RI) has appointed Hanan A. Rozak as the Deputy Chair of Commission IV, replacing Panggah Susanto. The appointment took place within the Commission IV chamber today.
Deputy Speaker of the DPR, Saan Mustopa, presided over the meeting on Wednesday (2/9). The House leadership confirmed receipt of a replacement letter from the Golkar Party faction.
“The leadership of the DPR RI has received a letter from the Golking Party Faction, Number SJ.00.1384/FPG, dated 14 August 2024, regarding the determination of the membership structure of the Golkar Party Faction of the DPR RI, which was read during the DPR RI Plenary Session on 15 August 2024,” said Saan during the meeting in the Commission IV room, Senayan, Jakarta, on Wednesday (2/9/2026).
Saan stated that the position previously held by Panggah Susanto as Deputy Chair of Commission IV will now be filled by Hanan Rozak. The House leadership subsequently sought approval for the appointment from the meeting participants.
“Mr Hanan A. Rozak will be appointed as the Deputy Chair of Commission IV of the DPR RI, replacing Mr Panggah Susanto. Therefore, as the meeting chair, we ask the members of Commission IV of the DPR RI whether Mr Hanan A. Rozak, member number 287, can be approved for appointment as the Deputy Chair of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia?” Saan asked.
“Agreed,” replied the meeting members.
The updated structure of Commission IV of the DPR RI is as follows:
Chair of Commission IV DPR RI: Siti Hediati Soeharto (Titiek Soeharto) from the Gerindra Party Faction.
Deputy Chair: Alex Indra Lukman from the PDI Perjuangan Faction.
Deputy Chair: Hanan A. Rozak from the Golkar Party Faction.
Deputy Chair: Ahmad Yohan from the PAN Faction.
Deputy Chair: Abdul Haris Almasyhari from the PKS Faction.
“May Almighty God always provide guidance, strength, and direction in carrying out this mandate and performing the constitutional duties and responsibilities of the DPR RI,” Saan added.
