The House of Representatives (DPR), in collaboration with the government, held discussions regarding the acceleration of national economic growth, including the governance of natural resource (SDA) exports and the speeding up of investments at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, on Monday (8/6).

The meeting was attended by State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Danantara Dony Oskaria, and Minister of Law Supratman Andi Agtas.

“Today, at the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia, we have conducted lengthy discussions and coordination since this morning with the government side,” said Deputy Speaker of the DPR, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad.

Dasco stated that the meeting addressed efforts to accelerate economic growth, as well as the governance of exports to be managed by PT Danantara Sumber Daya Indonesia (DSI) and the management of mineral resources under the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM).

“We also discussed how to create regulations to accelerate investment permits,” he added.

During the same session, Dony explained that DSI will begin operating as the sole intermediary for natural resource exports from June until 31 December 2026. He noted that this policy aims to ensure that practices such as under-invoicing and transfer pricing do not occur in Indonesia’s natural resource exports.

“Our task is to ensure that under-invoicing and transfer pricing do not occur in our natural resource exports, and certainly, in its implementation, we will act transparently, accountably, and responsibly,” he said.

He further noted that existing export contracts held by companies will continue as usual, provided that no practices of under-invoicing or transfer pricing are discovered. “We are developing a digitalisation system to ensure that all our natural resource transactions are conducted fairly and transparently,” he concluded.
