House Member Attends Screening of 'Garuda Di Dadaku', Backs Local Animation

Member of House Commission VII from the Democratic Party faction, Dina Lorenza, expressed her support for an animated film by local animators titled ‘Garuda di Dadaku’ by attending a film screening with the ranks of the Red and White Cabinet and the Ministry of Creative Economy. Dina stated that Commission VII always provides support for the creativity of the nation’s children in the creative industry, in this case animated films that possess intellectual property already widely recognised by the public. “Definitely very supportive,” Dina said after the screening of ‘Garuda di Dadaku’ in Jakarta on Thursday. She noted that in friendship one cannot be selfish and must uphold sportsmanship when playing, especially in sports. “The film is interesting, good, and full of lessons that in any sport you definitely cannot go it alone; you must not be selfish and must embrace togetherness,” Dina said. House Commission VII has a strategic role in pushing for policies that favour the development of the creative industry, including the film sector. This is also related to the House’s working partnership with the Ministry of Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia, which is tasked with strengthening the national creative economy sector.
