House for tidal wave victims

BANYUWANGI, East Java: The plan to build houses for tidal wave victims is still being discussed by the related government agencies.

Chief of the Banyuwangi development office Soeprayitno said the plan was still being discussed, including the plan to acquire the land which currently belongs to the state-owned Perhutani forestry firm.

He said the plan had yet to receive the go-ahead from the East Java provincial administration.
