Ahmad Sahroni, Deputy Chair of Commission III of the House of Representatives (DPR), has welcomed the meetings between National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, Attorney General ST Burhanuddin and TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto on several occasions. According to him, these meetings among senior law enforcement figures are proof that relations between the institutions are just fine.

“This visit shows that the relationship between the three institutions, namely the police, the Attorney General’s Office and the TNI, is solid, fine and cohesive. I see the three of them working together to support and realise the President’s work in improving the welfare of the people through his various programmes,” Sahroni said when contacted on Wednesday (15/7/2026).

He said the meetings between the Police Chief, the Attorney General and the TNI Commander proved there was no rift between the institutions. He saw the police, the Attorney General’s Office and the TNI helping and strengthening one another.

“So if anyone assumes or tries to build a narrative suggesting there is a rift between institutions, that is not true. In fact, these three institutions support and strengthen each other according to their respective functions and authorities,” he said.

Furthermore, the NasDem Party Treasurer of the Central Leadership Board viewed the cohesion between institutions as important capital in supporting President Prabowo Subianto’s agenda, particularly in the areas of law enforcement, corruption eradication and state defence.

“With the high state institutions, especially the National Police and the Attorney General’s Office, becoming increasingly solid, I am confident that the agenda of eradicating and preventing corruption will grow stronger and more effective. This is in line with President Prabowo’s directive that all state institutions unite to uphold firm law enforcement while strengthening national resilience,” Sahroni said.

Police Chief Meets Attorney General and TNI Commander

National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo visited Attorney General ST Burhanuddin at the Attorney General’s Office in South Jakarta. General Sigit confirmed there were no problems between the National Police and the Attorney General’s Office.

“What I can confirm here, especially as we are gathered together with the Attorney General and all the principal officials of the Adhiyaksa, and I am accompanied by the Deputy Police Chief and the principal officials of the National Police Headquarters, is that we are all in agreement and convey to all our ranks that there are no problems between the two institutions,” the Police Chief said at the Attorney General’s Office on Monday (13/7).

Then, on a separate occasion, General Sigit and his leadership also paid a courtesy visit to TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto and his staff at TNI Headquarters in Cilangkap, East Jakarta. General Sigit confirmed that the TNI and the National Police are solid and continue to work in synergy in supporting President Prabowo Subianto’s programmes.

“Of course, following what the President has instructed, that the TNI and the National Police are the main pillars safeguarding the nation’s sovereignty. We certainly have an obligation to keep ensuring that the TNI and the National Police remain solid,” General Sigit said at TNI Headquarters on Monday (13/7).
