House Commission VII Reviews 2025 Budget Realisation with BSN and ANTARA

Jakarta - Commission VII of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) held a meeting with the National Standardisation Agency (BSN), the Public Broadcasting Institution (LPP) TVRI, LPP RRI, and the National News Agency (LKBN) ANTARA to discuss the realisation of the 2025 budget. Deputy Chairman of Commission VII DPR RI Chusnunia Chalim stated that these four institutions play a strategic role in supporting national development according to their respective functions. “Therefore, the budget execution of these four institutions is not only measured by the level of budget absorption, but also by the performance achievements and tangible impacts produced,” Chusnunia said at the parliamentary complex in Jakarta on Thursday. According to her, Commission VII DPR RI requires clarity on the realisation of programmes, the achievement of performance indicators, various obstacles faced in the execution of duties, as well as corrective measures taken to improve the effectiveness of programme implementation and the quality of service to the public. Through explanations from each institution, she hoped the commission could obtain a comprehensive picture regarding the 2025 budget execution and achievements for the 2025 fiscal year, serving as evaluation material and input for policy improvement and performance strengthening in the coming years. “The state budget is for the 2025 fiscal year,” she said. Towards the end of Session Period V of the 2025-2026 Sitting Year, the DPR RI is currently holding meetings with all partners to discuss the Central Government Financial Report (LKPP) for the 2025 State Budget. Previously, Commission VII had also held meetings with the same agenda with the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises and the Ministry of Tourism.
