The House of Representatives Commission III has expressed its support for the National Police’s Corruption Eradication Corps (Kortastipidkor) in investigating alleged corruption concerning the fulfilment of coal supplies. The Chairman of House Commission III assessed that the elevation of the case’s status demonstrates the seriousness of law enforcement officials in handling suspected corruption in the energy sector. Previously, the Police’s Kortastipidkor had escalated the handling of the case to the investigation stage.
