House Commission III to Form Supervisory Team Following Jampidsus Resignation
The Chairman of House Commission III, Habiburokhman, has stated that his party will form a supervisory team to ensure that the handling of corruption cases continues following the resignation of Febrie Adriansyah from the post of Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus).
"House Commission III is fully committed to overseeing the handling of this case to its conclusion with legal certainty by forming a Supervisory Team," Habiburokhman said in a written statement received in Jakarta on Saturday (11/7/2026).
According to him, Febrie’s resignation must not hinder the law enforcement process for ongoing corruption cases. He assessed that this momentum should instead be utilised by law enforcement officials to complete investigations professionally and transparently.
Habiburokhman also requested that the Attorney General’s Office and the National Police continue to work independently without intervention, despite allegations of involvement by certain individuals in the case under investigation.
"This alleged corruption incident involves individuals, not institutional policy or representation. Therefore, there must be absolutely no confrontation or sectoral ego conflict between institutions," he said.
