House Commission III Task Force Opens Public Complaints Post on Febrie Adriansyah

A member of Commission III of the DPR RI, Abdullah, said the Working Committee (Panja) on Law Enforcement Oversight of Commission III of the DPR RI will not stop at the naming of former Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) Febrie Adriansyah as a suspect in the alleged money laundering and coal corruption case involving a power plant owned by PT PLN, the alleged collusion in the handling of the corruption case of PT ASABRI (Persero), and the settlement of debts between PT CBS-KNI.
Abdullah said the Working Committee will open up the complaints space as widely as possible for members of the public who were victims of alleged extortion in the handling of several major cases.
He said it is not only the three cases currently implicating Febrie; the committee is also opening complaints for alleged extortion swirling around the Zarof Ricar case.
“With one thing from us, which is not to stop here, in the sense that many things must be uncovered, one of them being the extortions that have indeed become known to the public. One of them is indeed the Zarof Ricar case. We are opening that space, the complaints space, as widely as possible so that this case can be exposed,” Abdullah said in Jakarta on Saturday (11/7/2026).
To peel this corruption scandal back to its roots, the Working Committee of Commission III of the DPR RI will also schedule a series of hearings (RDP). Abdullah explained that the committee will summon relevant parties to be questioned. The parliamentary proceedings will later combine open and closed sessions, depending on the sensitivity of the material and the protection of witnesses or whistleblowers.
“Later we in the Working Committee will hold hearings, both closed and open, so that this case is exposed as widely as possible,” the legislator added. (H-3)
The Attorney General’s Office has confirmed that former Jampidsus Febrie Adriansyah will face an ethics hearing in addition to criminal proceedings related to the alleged corruption and money laundering case.
Experts have expressed support for the steps taken by the National Police’s Corruption Eradication Corps, which is currently investigating the alleged corruption case involving Febrie Adriansyah.
The Attorney General’s Office has guaranteed professionalism in handling the alleged corruption case involving the former Jampidsus FA, which was transferred by the National Police’s Corruption Eradication Task Force.
Attorney General ST Burhanuddin instructed the Jampidsus to handle the corruption case involving the former high-ranking official Febrie Adriansyah professionally and to uphold the presumption of innocence.
The KPK stated that there has been no discussion of a joint investigation into the coal corruption case implicating the former Jampidsus FA, with the current focus on coordination.
