Chairman of the House of Representatives’ Commission III, Habiburokhman, has revealed President Prabowo Subianto’s message regarding the alleged corruption case involving former Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus), Febrie Adriansyah. Prabowo wants all law enforcement officers to remain solid and work to their maximum capacity.

‘Essentially, Mr Prabowo certainly wants law enforcers to be solid, all out. And earlier we have even committed to being solid. I brought together the Kortas and Jampidsus, God willing, they will be solid,’ Habiburokhman said at the Senayan complex, Jakarta, on Saturday (11/7/2026).

Habiburokhman stated that Commission III wants to ensure the handling of the case proceeds professionally and does not disrupt solidarity among law enforcement agencies. Commission III has therefore decided to form a Working Committee (Panja) to oversee the handling of the case that has ensnared Febrie Adriansyah. Habiburokhman said the working committee will summon all parties related to the case.

‘Everyone will be summoned,’ he said when asked about the parties to be called by the Commission III Working Committee. He also stressed that the working committee was formed as part of the House’s oversight function over law enforcement officers. According to him, Commission III will not be involved in the investigation but will only supervise to ensure the entire process runs transparently and accountably.

‘Not involved. We are their supervisors. We are on a different level, we are above them. We will supervise directly,’ he asserted. Habiburokhman mentioned that Commission III is ready to be present during searches or examinations if necessary. According to him, this step is taken to prevent accusations or slander from arising during the law enforcement process.

‘Yes, that is correct, to be present. So there is no slander, so that no money is swapped. Lest the gold bars be swapped with chocolate filling,’ he added.

It is known that the Police’s Corruption Eradication Corps (Kortas Tipikor) has named Febrie Adriansyah and Don Ritto as suspects in the alleged corruption case. The case has now been transferred to the Attorney General’s Office of the Republic of Indonesia.

‘At one point we conducted a case review and based on the case review, we have named two suspects,’ said Head of the Police’s Kortas Tipikor, Inspector General Totok Suharyanto, during a press conference at the Attorney General’s Office on Saturday (11/6).

For suspect Don Ritto, Kortas Tipikor has charged him under Article 4 and/or Article 5 in conjunction with Article 10 of Law Number 8 of 2010 or Article 607 paragraph 1 letters b and c of the Criminal Code. ‘We have also named Mr FA in the case of alleged corruption and/or money laundering in the legal handling process by civil servants or state officials in the PT ASABRI case and/or other corruption crimes as referred to in Article 12 letter b, Article 12 B of the Corruption Eradication Law, and Article 3, 4 of the Money Laundering Law or Article 607 paragraph 1 letters a and b of the Criminal Code,’ he explained. Suspect DR has been detained since 10 July 2026 at the Polda Metro Jaya Detention Centre. The case has now been transferred to the Attorney General’s Office.
