House Commission III Forms Working Committee to Oversee Former Jampidsus Corruption Case
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The House of Representatives’ Commission III has agreed to form a working committee to oversee the handling of a corruption case involving former Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) Febrie Adriansyah. The decision was reached unanimously by the commission’s chairman, Habiburokhman, and all factions. The working committee is tasked with supervising the legal process to ensure it proceeds transparently and accountably. In a separate development, Acting Jampidsus Rudi Margono stated that two individuals, identified by the initials F and DR, have been named as suspects in three alleged corruption cases related to coal governance that triggered power outages in Sumatra. Meanwhile, PT Agrinas Pangan Nusantara is conducting a comprehensive evaluation of its systems following the emergence of issues regarding the payroll process for personnel of the Koperasi Desa/Kelurahan Merah Putih. The government is targeting the operation of 40,000 such village cooperatives by the end of 2026 as part of efforts to strengthen the rural economy.
