House Commission III Forms Monitoring Team for Three Cases Following Jampidsus Resignation
Chairman of House Commission III, Habiburokhman, has responded to the resignation of Febrie Adriansyah from the position of Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus). Commission III will form a monitoring team to investigate three corruption cases currently being handled by the Corruption Eradication Corps (Kortas Tipikor) of the National Police together with the Metro Jaya Regional Police.
“House Commission III is fully committed to overseeing the handling of this case until it is completed with legal certainty by forming a monitoring team,” Habiburokhman said in a statement on Saturday (11/7/2026).
Habiburokhman assessed that Febrie’s resignation must not halt the law enforcement process underway at the Attorney General’s Office. He also urged law enforcement officers to remain solid.
“This resignation must not weaken or stop the ongoing law enforcement steps. We strongly request that all state security and law enforcement institutions—from the National Police, the Attorney General’s Office, to the Indonesian National Armed Forces—remain solid, united, and closely synergised,” he stated.
He called on all law enforcement agencies to share a single vision in supporting the programmes of President Prabowo Subianto, who is firmly and uncompromisingly committed to eradicating corruption. He stressed that there should be no sectoral ego conflicts between institutions.
“This alleged corruption incident involves individuals or rogue elements, not institutional policy or representation. Therefore, there must be absolutely no confrontation or sectoral ego conflict between institutions,” he said.
“The country needs its law enforcement officers to be united in order to move forward,” he added.
Finally, he confirmed that House Commission III will carry out its functions. He assured that the case will be monitored to ensure it proceeds optimally and according to procedure.
“We in Commission III will continue to ensure that the oversight function runs optimally so that inter-agency cooperation remains strong and stays on the right track,” he concluded.
