Choosing in accordance with the authority we possess,” Utut stated. Previously, Director General of Public Communication and Media at the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs, Fifi Aleyda Yahya, explained that the names had gone through a transparent, accountable, and participatory selection process. The Chair of the Selection Committee for KI Pusat Candidates for the 2026–2030 period also assured that the names submitted by the government to the DPR are the best candidates with capacity in the field of public information disclosure. “The entire selection process was carried out rigorously, from registration, administrative selection, paper writing, psychological assessment, receiving public input on track records, to interviews,” Fifi said in a statement on Tuesday (9/6). She explained that the next stage is for the DPR to select seven names based on the fit and proper test results.
