Hotels have new chiefs
JAKARTA (JP): PT Hotel Indonesia International Corporation and
Natour (HIIN), a state-owned hotel management firm, has appointed
Chandra Hasan, 53, as the new general manager for Hotel
Indonesia, the country's first five-star hotel located in the
capital.
Hotel Indonesia's spokesperson, Miriem Roy, told The Jakarta
Post over the weekend that Chandra replaced Ismojo Martokusumo,
who now works as an executive at HIIN.
In addition to Chandra, HIIN's president, Indra Setiawan, has
also installed new general managers for other hotels under the
management of the company.
Paryono Syapar has been assigned to lead Hotel Ambarrukmo in
Yogyakarta and Suhartini Tarigan to lead Hotel Wisata
International in Jakarta.
Hotel Wisata's former general manager, Putu Darma Suta, was
installed as general manager of Hotel Natour Garuda in
Yogyakarta, replacing Abbas Yoenoes, who was assigned to manage
Hotel Natour Dharma Deli in Medan, North Sumatra.
Hotel Putri Bali and Grand Bali Beach in Nusa Dua, Bali, and
Hotel Manado Beach in North Sulawesi also have new general
managers, respectively I Nyoman Megeg, Darma Setiawan and Bambang
Sujatno. (icn)
