The process of evacuating Hotel Sultan is being carried out by the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Area Management Centre (PPKGBK). The legal counsel for the State Secretariat Minister and PPKGBK, Kharis Sucipto, has conveyed a message to PT Indobuildco that all items in Hotel Sultan must be removed within six months at the latest. Kharis stated that the belongings located in Hotel Sultan will begin to be transported on Saturday (20/6/2026), specifically tomorrow morning. He also emphasised that the process of moving movable items not attached to the building will be adjusted in accordance with the court ruling. PPKGBK will also consider the schedule of the moving team regarding their availability to promptly transport and deliver these items. The moving team is trusted to possess specific expertise in packaging and storing items according to procedure. Referring to the court ruling, this storage will be carried out as carefully as possible in accordance with the provisions, namely for a period of six months. As of today, item removal officers are conducting labelling and data collection in each building. Because the screening process inside the former Hotel Sultan building is still ongoing, the removal of these movable items has not yet been carried out today (19/6/2026). The plan is that once these items are in a ready condition, PPKGBK will immediately send them to a warehouse in the Bekasi Regency area, specifically Cikarang. The target is for the removal of the items to be completed within the next month. β€˜The warehouse is in Cikarang, two warehouses in the same regency in Bekasi,’ he explained. Regarding the delivery, PPKGBK has already coordinated with the National Police Traffic Directorate, including with the moving team. The movement of trucks has also been carefully determined and will certainly not disrupt traffic flow around the former Hotel Sultan area. As a result, it is expected that all buildings in the Block 15 area of the former Hotel Sultan will be empty after the item removal process is completed.
