Hotel management pact

JAKARTA (JP): PT Kencana Semesta, a member of the Tata Group,
signed here yesterday a management contract with Park Lane Hotels
International of Hong Kong for its US$75 million Resor Carita
Laguna Hotel in West Java.

The agreement was signed by Yohaness Sucipto, a director of
Kencana Semesta, and Kenneth Mullen, an executive of Park Lane
Hotels International.

Susila B. Moeffreni, the president of PT Procon Indah, the
hotel's sole marketing agent, said that the four-star hotel is
now being constructed and will start operating in December next
year.

He said the hotel will consist of 304 villas in Balinese and
Caribbean styles.(04)
