Bareskrim Polri has dismantled a drug trafficking network involving ecstasy and etomidate-containing vapes at a hotel and nightlife venue in West Jakarta (Jakbar). The drug distribution practices were highly covert. This was revealed by Dania Eka Putri alias Mami Dania alias Tania, one of the suspects arrested by a joint team from the Directorate of Narcotics Criminal Acts (Dittipid) of Bareskrim Polri, led by Kombes Handik Zusen, along with the NIC Task Force led by Kombes Kevin Leleury, on Friday (8/5). “The suspect explained that B Fashion Hotel was still distributing narcotics covertly and secretly through the Captain of B Fashion Hotel, but not all employees or visitors were given access to conduct transactions inside B Fashion Hotel,” said the Director of Narcotics Criminal Acts of Bareskrim, Brigjen Eko Hadi Santoso, on Thursday (14/5/2026). The hotel is located at Jalan Aranda Number 1, RT 01 RW 01, Tanjung Duren Selatan, Grogol Petamburan, Jakbar. Inside the hotel, there are facilities including karaoke, a music club, private karaoke for invited and VIP guests, as well as reflexology massage and hotel rooms. Mami Dania, continued Brigjen Eko, then sought access to obtain narcotics for distribution to visitors at B Fashion Hotel through Teuku Rico Edwin alias Derwin. Rico is an employee of Man Companion (MC) at B Fashion Hotel and also a distributor of ecstasy and etomidate-containing vapes at the hotel. Previously, drug distribution at the hotel was handled by a pharmacist arranged by the hotel captain. At that time, visitors could make narcotic purchase transactions through waitresses who would contact the Captain so that the pharmacist would visit the guests’ rooms. “However, since the nightlife venue operation, B Fashion Hotel declared ‘Red Code’ and only VIP guests could obtain narcotics through the Captain,” he explained. Drug distribution also occurred at The Seven, a private karaoke facility on the 7th floor that is only open to invited and VIP guests. At this private karaoke facility, drug distribution was also carried out through a receptionist with initials VW. “VIP guests usually make orders and payments in advance for narcotic purchases (usually ecstasy and etomidate-containing vapes) before arriving at the room at The Seven. Then, Verah Wita would ask Ridwan, as the server, to obtain the requested narcotics and deliver them on the day the guest arrives,” he said. He stated that guests could not buy additional narcotics because The Seven’s management did not provide narcotics on site, but rather Ridwan sourced them outside of The Seven’s management. Management Aware of Drug Trafficking Based on examinations of hotel employees and visitors, the hotel management is suspected of knowing about the drug trafficking and abuse practices. In addition to being provided, police obtained statements that some visitors also brought drugs and consumed them at the hotel. “The distribution of ecstasy and etomidate-containing vape narcotics at B Fashion Hotel and The Seven was carried out secretly by some rogue employees and visitors who provided narcotics outside of the management of B Fashion Hotel and The Seven, however, the management of B Fashion Hotel was aware of the dark distribution and drug use at the location,” Eko revealed. Police will further investigate the case with the operators and business owners. Police once raided a room suspected to have been used for a drug party by the hotel management. “According to the statement of Teuku Rico Edwin alias Dervin, the suspect heard that the management was gathering and celebrating the 12th anniversary of B Fashion Hotel in one of the KTV rooms and allegedly holding a drug party. However, when the enforcement action took place, the management in that room immediately fled,” he said. To the police, Dervin also explained his job as an MC. It is suspected that prostitution transactions also occurred at the hotel. “He explained that man companions could serve visitors at B Fashion KTV, Oppai Club, as therapists, and engage in sexual relations with female visitors, male visitors, and with married couples. Some of Teuku Rico Edwin alias Dervin’s customers are public figures who work as artists and influencers,” he detailed.
