Hotel Guest Makes Off with Three TVs from Rooms in Bandung

A video recording showing a guest staying at a hotel on Jalan Pasirkoja, Bandung City, leaving his room while carrying a large bag containing a television has gone viral on social media. The hotel guest is known to have stolen three televisions from the three rooms he had booked on Monday (17/8/2026). In the video footage, the man is seen wearing a cap and mask, along with a shirt and shorts. He exits the hotel room carrying a television placed inside a bag that had been prepared beforehand. The guest then walks towards the hotel car park area. At that location, a car driver and a vehicle were waiting for the suspected perpetrator. Calmly, the man gets into the car and then leaves the hotel premises. According to information circulating on social media, the perpetrator’s modus operandi involved asking to view three rooms he intended to stay in. Afterwards, the perpetrator booked the three hotel rooms using a fake identity.
