Hosting Women Network 2026, Astra Opens Wide Opportunities to Enhance Women's Roles in the Company
Astra continues to strengthen its commitment to creating a diverse and inclusive work environment. This is achieved through various initiatives supporting the development of women’s leadership within the Astra Group.
One such initiative is the Astra Women Network 2026, held in Jakarta under the theme ‘Women Empowered: From Empowerment to Impact’. This theme reflects Astra’s spirit that women’s empowerment does not stop at opening opportunities for growth, but extends to real contributions and impacts for the environment, company, and nation.
“Astra is committed to continuously encouraging the creation of a more inclusive environment and opening more opportunities for women to play and contribute optimally within the organisation. Through the Astra Women Network, we hope that more Astra women will develop and provide positive contributions to the environment, company, and nation,” said Astra Director Gita Tiffani Boer in her statement on Wednesday, 13 May 2026.
On that occasion, Deputy Minister of Public Works Diana Kusumastuti encouraged women in Indonesia, including Astra women, to always empower themselves and provide benefits to their surroundings. This collaboration can maximise existing potential.
“I convey my appreciation and respect to Astra through the Astra Women Network 2026, which consistently provides spaces for collaboration, learning, and strengthening the capacity of Indonesian women. This initiative shows that women’s empowerment is no longer just a social agenda, but has become an important part of the strategy for human resource development and national sustainability,” said Deputy Minister of Public Works Diana Kusumastuti.
The Astra Women Network 2026 featured inspirational women, namely Grab Indonesia’s Chief Executive Officer Neneng Goenadi and Chair of the Astra Women’s Board as well as AstraPay CEO Rina Apriana, who shared experiences and lessons for Astra women to continue growing, dare to take on leadership roles, and create positive impacts in their surroundings.
Since 2025, Astra women have carried out various women’s leadership strengthening programmes through mentoring and learning activities involving participants from various companies within the Astra Group, both through in-class training sessions, one-on-one mentoring, and group mentoring focused on strengthening women’s leadership capabilities as well as other developments through various diversity and inclusion programmes.
