I'm concerned by the increasing violence being committed by
hoodlums in the country.

While years before it was easy to guess if an organization was
practicing hoodlumism, today there is a tendency to legalize
hoodlumism in the interest of political parties, the products of
democracy through general elections.

Now hoodlumism is connected with business practices, just like
the mafia in Italy.

Hoodlumism is also on the increase because of the combination
of money and power. It is difficult to eliminate hoodlumism
because law enforcement has failed to impose tough penalties.

Indonesia is a state based on the law, so those practicing
hoodlumism must be severely punished. Condoning hoodlumism will
only produce a barbaric society that relies more on muscle than
the mind.
