West Java’s first award was the National Best Network Node Award 2026 for the National Archival Information System (SIKN) and National Archival Information Network (JIKN). The award was received directly by West Java Vice Governor Erwan Setiawan from ANRI Chief Mego Pinandito. He described the award as evidence that West Java consistently honours historical milestones. The second award received by West Java was the 2025 National Archival Supervision Award with a score of 95.96, placing it in the AA ‘very satisfactory’ category. Erwan stated that archives are more than just piles of paper—they are the compass of civilization. ‘Without organised records, we lose our way,’ Erwan said in a statement on Monday (25 May 2026). In recognition of these two awards, Erwan praised the West Java Regional Library and Archives Office for their hard work in preserving archives. ‘Congratulations to Dispusipda Jabar for their dedication and hard work,’ he said. Erwan urged the awards to serve as motivation to enhance performance and public services. Meanwhile, Purwakarta Regency Government received the National Model Network Node Award 2026 in the regency/city category, while Bogor Regency Government was awarded the 2026 National Archival Supervision Award with a score of 93.97, also in the AA ‘very satisfactory’ category.
