Honor Robot Phone Confirmed to Debut in the Third Quarter of 2026

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Honor has confirmed that its latest concept phone, the Honor Robot Phone, will launch in the third quarter of 2026, or around July to September.

As reported by GSM Arena on Thursday (15/5) local time, the information was revealed during the Cannes China Night event, where Honor showcased the phone’s imaging capabilities to invited guests.

Honor stated that the Robot Phone will be the first device to utilise imaging technology from ARRI, a professional cinema camera manufacturer widely used in the film industry. The collaboration between Honor and ARRI was announced in March.

One of the main features highlighted in the Robot Phone is the 4DoF or four degrees of freedom gimbal system, designed to enhance video stabilisation and mobile recording experiences.

The gimbal camera is said to be similar to the DJI Osmo Pocket 3, but integrated directly into the phone’s body. The camera is also claimed to be able to respond dynamically to the objects it sees and will be supported by various AI-based features.

Honor calls the Robot Phone the “next evolution” in mobile filmmaking technology and AI-based hardware innovation.

Although most of the Robot Phone’s specifications are not yet known, Honor has assured that it will reveal more details about the phone in the near future.
