Honor Indonesia has affirmed that it will continue its business operations in the country, in response to speculation suggesting the company might exit the Indonesian market. Head of Public Relations for Honor Indonesia, Aryo Meidianto Aji, stated that the company understands the public’s concerns arising from its limited activities in recent times. “We have heard customers’ concerns lately because Honor has rarely appeared in public. It is understandable that rumours then emerge that we are leaving,” said Aryo in an official statement on Friday (24/4/2026). Honor stated that it is currently in the preparation phase to introduce new devices in Indonesia in the second quarter of 2026. One of the products being prepared is the Honor Pad X8b, a tablet designed for children’s needs. The device is equipped with Kids Mode and an operating system claimed to be free from advertising interruptions. In addition, Honor is preparing another product that will be introduced towards the end of the quarter. The company also asks consumers to wait for official information regarding specifications and launch schedules for the latest products through their official communication channels. With this statement, Honor ensures that it will maintain its presence in the Indonesian market amid increasingly tight competition among smartphone vendors.
