Honor 600 Super Edition Officially Launched with 8,600mAh Battery and 200MP Camera

Honor has launched its latest smartphone, the Honor 600 Super Edition, in the Chinese market on Monday, 25 May 2026. The device is positioned as the newest and most premium variant in the Honor 600 Series. Compared to the global Honor 600 released last April, the Super Edition features several upgrades, particularly in battery and camera capabilities.

One notable upgrade is the battery capacity, now reaching 8,600mAh—significantly higher than the 7,000mAh battery in the global version. Honor states the battery uses “Qinghai Lake” technology, named after one of China’s largest lakes.

The Honor 600 Super Edition features a flat 6.57-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,728 x 1,264 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. It supports peak HDR brightness of 8,000 nits and a maximum full-screen brightness of 1,800 nits. To enhance eye comfort, the display includes 3,840Hz PWM dimming to reduce flicker in low-light conditions. Honor also claims the phone’s bezels are extremely thin at just 0.98mm on all sides.

In terms of design, the camera module on the Super Edition is slimmer than the regular Honor 600. The camera arrangement resembles the iPhone Air’s aesthetic, with two large lenses aligned horizontally.

For photography, the device is equipped with a 200MP main camera (f/1.9) with a 1/1.4-inch sensor and OIS CIPA 6.0 stabilization. Additional cameras include a 12MP ultrawide (f/2.2) and a 50MP front-facing camera (f/2.0) for selfies and video calls. Honor also added 4K real-time video recording support at 7x optical zoom on both the main and front cameras.
