Honda's Focus for 2026: Getting Closer to Customers
Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) confirms that in 2026 they will focus on getting closer to their loyal customers across various regions in Indonesia.
“Our main focus is this: to ensure customer satisfaction. To ensure customers are cared for, their satisfaction is maintained. So our focus isn’t the number of dealers, but the coverage area,” said Yusak Billy, Sales & Marketing and After Sales Director of PT HPM, in Jakarta during discussions with reporters some time ago.
This approach is crucial for Honda. Given the population of Honda vehicles increasing each year, it motivates HPM to deliver the best service for them.
Currently, Yusak Billy said that the coverage area already reaches 93 percent. This means that in almost every region and district there are facilities to service Honda vehicles.
“I’ve explained, 93 percent already has coverage area. That means wherever there is a Honda unit in operation or 10 years of Honda ownership in a region with a certain volume, quantity, there must be a dealership there,” he said.
To complete it to 100 percent, HPM is currently striving so that all regions can be reachable.
There are several regions that have started to move to provide buildings to become places for repair and maintenance of Honda vehicles.
The locations include North Kalimantan, Bali, South Sumatra, West Java to West Papua.
“So if that is in 1-3 years ahead the plan is that all of Indonesia’s coverage can be achieved. So customers in a region with a certain number, don’t need to go far to the city centre. So we must prepare networks to serve customers. Especially in maintaining their vehicles,” he said.
