Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) is preparing 99 standby dealers to support the smooth flow of Eid al-Fitr homecoming and return traffic in 2026. Sales & Marketing and After Sales Director HPM Yusak Billy said the dozens of dealers will stay open during the long holiday period, with several operating 24 hours a day. ‘As in this year, we are preparing 99 standby dealers and a number of dealers will also operate 24 hours. The aim is one: to ensure every customer’s journey remains comfortable and worry-free,’ Billy said in Jakarta on Tuesday, 3 March 2026. In addition to physical services within the dealer network, Honda is strengthening its digital ecosystem through Honda Connect and the MyHonda app from Honda eCare. The technology enables vehicles to connect with the owner’s smartphone. Through the app, customers can monitor vehicle status, access information about nearby dealers, and even book service online. The integration of digital services is expected to provide added security during long-distance journeys. ‘Customers can also access dealer information, booking service, which ensures a worry-free driving experience,’ Billy said. In terms of network, Honda says its service coverage now reaches around 93 percent of Indonesia. During 2025–2026, the company added 13 new dealers in various areas to bring services closer to customers. ‘In the next one to three years, Honda aims to expand its network to cover the remaining roughly 7 percent of areas that are not yet served,’ Billy said. This move is part of the company’s long-term strategy to strengthen after-sales service, especially during crucial moments such as Lebaran when mobility increases significantly.
