Honda Delivers First 20 Units of Prelude to Consumers in Indonesia

PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) officially delivered the first 20 units of the Honda Prelude to consumers in Indonesia during a ceremony held at the Vault Automotive Museum, South Jakarta, on Saturday (23/05/2026). The return of the Prelude signifies a new chapter for Honda in presenting sports cars with electrification technology without abandoning the emotional character long associated with the brand.

The President Director of PT Honda Prospect Motor, Masanao Kataoka, stated that the latest Honda Prelude does not merely revive a legendary name, but also breathes new life into the ‘Joy of Driving’ philosophy within the era of modern hybrid vehicles. ‘Today is not just a vehicle handover ceremony, but the beginning of a new chapter in Honda’s journey in Indonesia,’ Kataorn said during his speech.
