Jakarta — Honda has officially handed over 20 units of the Honda Prelude to the first 20 customers in Indonesia. The handover ceremony was held at the Vault Automotive Museum in South Jakarta on Saturday, 23 May 2026. For those unfamiliar, the Vault Automotive Museum is a curated exhibition that presents a collection of historic and iconic automobiles. For Honda Culture, the exhibition outlines Honda’s journey through iconic models, the philosophy of engineering, racing culture, and the evolution of Honda’s driving character over time. The exhibition will run from 24 to 31 May 2026. During the exhibition, Honda will also showcase a range of heritage models spanning generations at the Vault Automotive Museum. Masanao Kataoka, President Director of PT Honda Prospect Motor, said that these cars represent how Honda brings the driving spirit into a new electrification era. ‘Proof that values, engineering philosophy, and the emotional connection with customers can endure across generations,’ he said. In addition to various generations of the Honda Prelude, Honda Culture also features iconic Honda models, from the Honda CR-Z Mugen RZ Spec, the NSX, the kei pickup TN360, to the first-generation Jazz.
