Homemade bomb explodes in Cebu

CEBU, Philippines (AFP): A homemade bomb exploded outside a shopping mall in this central Philippine city before dawn Sunday, and caused slight damage but no injuries, police said.

No one has claimed responsibility for the explosion on the car park of the Shoemart City shopping complex, which blasted a small crater into the pavement and damaged two concrete posts.
