Homebound Traffic on Gempol-Pasuruan Toll Road Surges 11.57 Per Cent

A total of 81,143 vehicles were recorded entering and exiting the Gempol-Pasuruan toll road section between H-10 and H-7 of Eid al-Fitr, 11-14 March 2026. This figure represented an 8.45 per cent increase from normal traffic volumes of 74,821 vehicles, or an 11.56 per cent rise compared to the 2025 Eid exodus traffic of 72,733 vehicles.

Bangil Toll Gate

Exit traffic recorded 7,241 vehicles, a 12.23 per cent increase from normal traffic of 6,452 vehicles.

Entrance traffic recorded 7,428 vehicles, a 9.01 per cent increase from normal traffic of 6,814 vehicles.

Rembang Toll Gate

Exit traffic recorded 7,272 vehicles, a 2.67 per cent increase from normal traffic of 7,083 vehicles.

Entrance traffic recorded 7,243 vehicles, a 2.24 per cent increase from normal traffic of 7,084 vehicles.

Pasuruan Toll Gate

Exit traffic recorded 18,056 vehicles, a 12.7 per cent increase from normal traffic of 16,021 vehicles.

Entrance traffic recorded 18,671 vehicles, a 9.94 per cent increase from normal traffic of 16,983 vehicles.

Grati Toll Gate

Positioned at the easternmost point of the Gempol-Pasuruan section:

Exit traffic recorded 5,829 vehicles, an 8.57 per cent increase from normal traffic of 5,369 vehicles.

Entrance traffic recorded 9,403 vehicles, a 4.30 per cent increase from normal traffic of 9,015 vehicles.

General Manager of Technical and Operations at PT Jasamarga Gempol Pasuruan, Leonardo Chandra, urged toll road users to prepare their journeys thoroughly by ensuring their vehicles were in good condition, charging devices and filling fuel tanks before travelling, maintaining sufficient balance on electronic toll cards, and bringing adequate provisions. He advised weary drivers to rest at designated rest areas.
