Ahead of the Eid al-Fitr 1447 H/2026 holiday, PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) recorded increased vehicle mobility towards the eastern Trans-Java region.

During the period from H-10 to H-9 (11–12 March 2026), a total of 62,503 vehicles passed through the Cikampek Utama toll gate heading east, representing a 13.68% increase compared to the normal traffic volume of 54,982 vehicles.

To manage the surge in vehicle traffic, JTT operated 16 toll booths at the Cikampek Utama toll gate to ensure smooth transactions and reduce potential queuing towards the eastern Trans-Java region.

Meanwhile, vehicles travelling from the eastern Trans-Java region towards Jakarta through the Cikampek Utama toll gate totalled 56,391 vehicles, an 8.98% increase compared to the normal traffic volume of 51,742 vehicles.

As mobility increased, several sections operated by Jasamarga Transjawa Tol introduced toll tariff discounts to provide more economical travel whilst distributing vehicle traffic more evenly during the Eid homebound and return journey periods.

VP Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol Ria Marlinda Paallo stated that road users could benefit from toll tariff reductions of up to 23% during the homebound and return journey periods on the Batang-Semarang section.

“PT Jasamarga Semarang Batang (JSB), one of JTT’s subsidiaries, which manages the Batang-Semarang section, implemented toll tariff reductions of approximately 23% for all transactions at the Batang-Semarang toll gate, effective from 12 March until 31 March 2026,” said Ria.

JTT continued monitoring increased vehicle volume, which was also evident on several toll sections managed by the JTT Group in Central Java and East Java regions.

JTT continued to urge Trans-Java toll users to prioritise safety, plan journeys carefully, ensure vehicles and drivers are in optimal condition, and confirm sufficient fuel and electronic toll card balance before travelling.
