Home Searched Over Three Corruption Cases, Jampidsus Febrie Assures MBG Case Proceeds
The Attorney General’s Office for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) at the Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung), Febrie Adriansyah, has assured that cases currently being handled by the Adhyaksa corps remain ongoing, despite his house in the Sentul area of Bogor Regency having been searched in connection with three corruption cases.
The search was carried out by a joint team of investigators from the National Police’s Corruption Eradication Task Force (Kortastipidkor) and the Special Criminal Investigation Directorate (Ditreskrimsus) of the Metropolitan Regional Police.
Febrie emphasised that recent developments have not affected the processes of inquiry, investigation, prosecution or the execution of evidentiary seizures within the Jampidsus.
“We assure you that all activities and duties ordered — inquiries, investigations, prosecutions, and field tasks in executing evidence — continue to run. I have been monitoring, and everything follows the SOP and proceeds swiftly,” he said on Friday, 10 July 2026.
He said the Attorney General’s Office, popularly known as the Round Building, remains focused on resolving several cases deemed to have a significant impact on society and connected to the government’s priority programmes.
One case drawing particular attention is the alleged corruption in the governance of the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) programme. In addition, the Attorney General’s Office is still handling matters related to governance in the mining sector and alleged transfer pricing.
“So I can convey that the MBG case at BGN is progressing; the case file preparation is under way. That remains our focus to resolve quickly — the orders given to me are the priority,” he said.
On the other hand, Febrie reiterated that the Attorney General’s Office respects every law enforcement process carried out by other law enforcement agencies in accordance with their respective authorities.
He also urged the public not to rush to conclusions over the various pieces of information circulating, and to give law enforcement agencies the opportunity to complete legal processes in accordance with the rules.
“We invite all elements of society to jointly safeguard a healthy law enforcement climate and to allow every legal process to run according to the mechanisms set out in laws and regulations,” he added.
Previously, it was reported that Febrie finally gave an explanation regarding his private residence in the Sentul area, which recently came under the spotlight after reports that it had been searched by law enforcement officials. Responding to the circulating issue, Febrie affirmed that the house is indeed his private property and that the ownership process can be accounted for.
