Minister of Home Affairs Muhammad Tito Karnavian inaugurated several officials within the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri) at the Sasana Bhakti Praja Building in Jakarta on Thursday (6/8/2026). The appointees included structural academic officials, high-ranking pratama officials, administrators, supervisors, and functional officers.

In his address, the Minister stated that the inauguration was part of the natural dynamics of the organisation and served as a moment of refreshment. Besides the retirement of some officials, the reshuffle also opens opportunities for other officials to develop their careers through transfers and promotions.

“I hope this change of office will improve the Ministry of Home Affairs’ performance in the future. I place great hope in the new officials to carry out their duties to the fullest,” Tito said.

Tito expressed his hope that the inauguration would motivate all Ministry employees to continuously enhance their performance. He believes that every mandate is a decree from God Almighty. On the occasion, he also conveyed his appreciation to the outgoing officials for their dedication and contributions during their service.

Furthermore, Tito invited all state civil apparatus (ASN) within the Ministry to support the leadership of the newly inaugurated officials. He emphasised that synergy and cooperation among employees are key to strengthening organisational performance, especially given the Ministry’s strategic role in guiding and supervising regional governance across Indonesia, from maintaining political and governmental stability and regional administration to providing population administration services.

“I hope for your support and prayers so that the Ministry of Home Affairs’ performance will improve in the future. Once again, I thank my colleagues who have worked hard in their service at the Ministry of Home Affairs,” Tito concluded.

The inaugurated officials included Rossy Lambelanova as Vice Rector for Academic and Innovation Affairs at the Institute of Home Affairs Governance (IPDN), Matheos Tan as Secretary of the Domestic Policy Strategy Agency (BSKDN), Herny Ika S. Hutauruk as Head of the Centre for Domestic Governance Competency Development at the Human Resources Development Agency (BPSDM), and Tiyar Cahya Kusuma as Head of the Centre for Government Apparatus Competency Development II at BPSDM. Other appointees included Indra Maulana Syamsul Arief as Head of the Bureau of Legal, Personnel, and Public Relations at IPDN, and Yasar Lukman YL as Secretary of the Korpri Board at the Ministry.

The ceremony also included the handover of the Ministerial Decree on Acting High-Ranking Officials to Bachril Bakri as Acting Inspector General of the Ministry and Andi Ony Prihartono as Acting Head of the Human Resources Development Agency (BPSDM).
