Home Credit Expands PayLater Service to 24,000 Indomaret Outlets
Technology-based financing company PT Home Credit Indonesia has entered into a partnership with PT Indomarco Prismatama (Indomaret) to introduce the BayarNanti service as a payment method at 24,000 Indomaret outlets across Indonesia.
Through this collaboration, more than 700,000 Home Credit customers who already have a credit limit can use the BayarNanti service to purchase various daily necessities at all Indomaret outlets.
“This is a step to expand how customers use Home Credit services in their daily lives. By bringing Home Credit BayarNanti to Indonesia’s largest retail network, we are delivering more accessible payment flexibility,” said Home Credit Chief Product Officer Manu Pal in an official statement in Jakarta on Wednesday.
Manu Pal said the partnership between the two parties is also part of a commitment to provide an increasingly diverse range of payment method options, so that customers can enjoy a more practical and flexible shopping experience.
Indomaret Marcomm Executive Director Bastari Akmal affirmed that Indomaret will continue to strive to deliver a shopping experience that is easy, convenient and suited to customer needs.
“Through this partnership, we are adding more payment method options, so that customers who have activated the BayarNanti service can now shop at Indomaret outlets more practically. We hope this collaboration can provide convenience while answering the public’s need for increasingly flexible transactions,” said Bastari.
As part of the Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group Inc (MUFG) ecosystem, the collaboration between the two companies was made possible with support from MUFG Bank Ltd Jakarta Branch.
Managing Director, Head of Global Corporate & Investment Banking MUFG Indonesia Michael Sugirin believes that a strong partnership can create greater value for consumers, while contributing to a more sustainable ecosystem.
“By combining Home Credit’s financing capabilities and Indomaret’s extensive retail network, this collaboration delivers practical and relevant solutions to meet the daily needs of the Indonesian people,” said Michael.
For information, Home Credit BayarNanti is a service provided to customers with certain criteria who previously have a goods financing contract.
The service is offered to selected customers determined based on customer financing criteria/history, with transactions that can be used from a minimum of Rp10,000.
