Home Affairs Minister Muhammad Tito Karnavian symbolically handed over sacrificial animals collected by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA) and the National Border Management Agency (BNPP) to Director General of Regional Development (Bangda) Restuardy Daud, who chairs the Qurban Committee.
The handover took place at the Masjid An-Nuur courtyard in MoHA’s central office in Jakarta on Tuesday, 26 May 2026.
The ceremony forms part of Idul Adha 1447 H commemorations within MoHA and BNPP, reflecting social concern for communities and staff in need.
‘Bismillahirrahmanirrahim, as Home Affairs Minister and on behalf of myself, family, MoHA, and all donors, I request the committee to proceed with distribution according to the established procedures,’ Tito said on Tuesday.

Additionally, Tito instructed staff to monitor community conditions during the Idul Adha holiday to ensure social stability.
‘Even during the long holiday, we will continue working on Fridays,’ he stressed.
