Home Affairs Minister: Social assistance better targeted with Perlinsos digitalisation

Home Affairs Minister Tito Karnavian stated that the government has completed a trial of the digitalisation of social protection (Perlinsos) in Banyuwangi, East Java, in June 2026. Speaking after a meeting of the Government Digital Transformation Acceleration Committee (KPTDP) at the Home Affairs Ministry office in Jakarta on Tuesday (30/6), the minister said that based on the pilot project, social assistance (bansos) distribution is now more accurately targeted through Perlinsos digitalisation.
