Home Affairs Minister distributes compensation to earthquake victims in Maumere

Home Affairs Minister Tito Karnavian visited a number of locations affected by the earthquake in Maumere, Sikka Regency, East Nusa Tenggara, on Wednesday, 19 August. Tito inspected the port of Maumere, the Samador evacuation site, and the homes of residents who died as a result of the disaster. The Home Affairs Minister also handed over compensation to the families of victims and affected residents, while ensuring that the post-disaster recovery process would be promptly addressed by the government.
