Government Regulation (PP) Number 9 of 2026 has mandated the provision of holiday allowances (THR) and 13th-month salaries for state apparatus and retirees. Holiday allowance payments in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) have reached Rp123 billion.

Adi Setiawan, Head of the Regional Office of the Directorate General of State Treasury (DJPb) for NTT Province, hopes that the disbursement of THR will serve as an economic stimulus.

“It is expected to serve as an economic stimulus for communities in NTT Province ahead of religious holiday celebrations and is expected to provide a positive impact on economic growth,” said Adi on Monday, 9 March 2026.

The government, according to Adi, ensures that all categories of state apparatus receive their entitlements proportionally.

“By 9 March 2026, the Regional Office of the Directorate General of State Treasury for NTT Province through six State Treasury Service Offices (KPPN) within the NTT area has completed THR payments totalling Rp123 billion,” he added.

Adi revealed that the THR budget of Rp123 billion has been distributed to 33,048 recipients consisting of civil servants, military/police, state contract workers (PPPK), and non-state civil service employees (PPNPN) in NTT.

“These funds have been distributed to 33,048 recipients consisting of civil servants, military, police, PPPK and PPNPN in the NTT work area,” said Adi.

Adi explained that the realisation of THR in NTT Province by 9 March 2026 was dominated by civil servants, military, and police, which absorbed approximately 53.61% or Rp88.7 billion of the THR payment target for civil servants/military/police.

Meanwhile, other components such as performance-linked allowance THR have been realised at 25.46% or Rp18.2 billion of the performance-linked THR payment target.

“Followed by payments for PPPK of 48.26% or Rp14.9 billion of the total THR payment target for PPPK, and PPNPN of 29.65% or Rp1.6 billion of the total THR payment target for PPNPN,” explained Adi.

Separately, Sylvia R. Peku Djawang, Head of the Labour and Transmigration Service (Nakertrans) of NTT, explained that her office has opened a complaints desk for THR matters.

“The desk was established from 5 March. It is set up to receive complaints and consultations regarding THR and holiday bonus (BHR) payments and calculations,” clarified Sylvia.
