HOG Anak Elang Jakarta Opens Fast with Charity for Orphans

Jakarta – The major motorcycle club Harley Owners Group (HOG) Anak Elang Jakarta Chapter held an “Iftar & Charity Night” event during Ramadan 2026.

The event featured communal breaking of the fast alongside social action, distributing aid to orphans from several foundations.

Suherli, Director of HOG Anak Elang Jakarta Chapter and Managing Director of Anak Elang Harley-Davidson, stated that this activity was a regular agenda held every Ramadan.

“Today’s event is about breaking the fast together and charity. This is a routine event every Ramadan. We organise social activities and break the fast together with friends from members and other communities we invite,” Suherli told Kompas.com in Jakarta on Friday (13 March 2026).

“HOG, Anak Elang Jakarta Chapter actually organises the event. But it is indeed a collaboration with the dealer, supported by the dealer,” he said.

For this activity, the American motorcycle community also invited representatives of orphans from several foundations and prayer halls located near the dealership.

In addition to breaking the fast together, the community channelled assistance in the form of cash and religious items and food for the orphan children.

“There are several of them, then we will give them packages. So they can eat here, and take some for friends who couldn’t join us for the meal,” said Suherli.

Furthermore, H.O.G Anak Elang Jakarta Chapter also distributed takjil to motorists passing in front of the dealership as a demonstration of concern for the surrounding community.
