Hoax! Former Jampidsus Febrie Adriansyah did not claim he would expose Jokowi's Rp11,000 trillion bunker
A Facebook post featuring a photo of former Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) Febrie Adriansyah has been circulating, falsely claiming he stated he would expose a bunker belonging to Indonesia’s 7th President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) containing Rp11,000 trillion. The post, which has been viewed around 77,000 times and received over 1,000 likes, carried the narrative: “THE MEGA STAR WAR HAS BEGUN. FEBRIE ADRIANSYAH: I WILL ALSO EXPOSE THE 11 THOUSAND TRILLION IN JOKOWI’S BUNKER.” However, no official statement or credible news report confirms Adriansyah ever made such a claim. The photo used in the post is identical to one published in a Detik article titled “The Different Roles of Febrie Adriansyah at the Round Building,” which covered his arrival at the Attorney General’s Office for questioning as a suspect in an alleged corruption case. The article contained no discussion of bunkers or President Joko Widodo. A joint team from the Police Corruption Eradication Corps (Kortastipidkor) and Polda Metro Jaya did search a house in the Sentul area, Bogor Regency, West Java, on 9 July 2026, seizing gold bars, foreign currency, approximately Rp476 billion in cash, documents, mobile phones, and several family photos believed to be linked to the investigation. The search was part of probes into alleged corruption in coal governance, corruption at PT Asabri and PT Jiwasraya for the 2020–2025 period, and money laundering related to the settlement of PT CBS’s debt to PT KNI. Adriansyah has been named a suspect in these cases. The claim that he would expose a bunker belonging to Jokowi is completely unfounded and a hoax.
