HNW: LCC an effective way to internalise the four pillars of the MPR RI
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Deputy Speaker of the MPR RI, Hidayat Nur Wahid (HNW), stated that the smart quiz competition (LCC) is an effective way to internalise the four pillars of the MPR RI to the younger generation, especially Gen Z.
“LCC is not merely a competition; it is hoped that this activity becomes an effective way to internalise the four pillars of the MPR RI so that the major challenges faced by Gen Z in the disruptive era can be addressed,” he said in a statement received in Jakarta on Monday.
HNW said that through the LCC Empat Pilar MPR RI 2026 activity, the younger generation is prepared to welcome Indonesia’s Golden 2045.
According to him, now is the right time to prepare the younger generation to usher in Indonesia’s golden age. This step follows in the footsteps of the nation’s forebears who prepared for the birth of the NKRI from a young age.
“At present, about 20 years before Indonesia’s Golden 2045 arrives, the law of history says that if you want to know the fate of the nation 20 years from now, look at what happened 20 years before,” he said.
Thus, he said, the participants are expected to become individuals who are Pancasila-oriented, humane, and accepting of unity, so they are not easily deceived by propaganda from certain ideologies or groups.
“In this way, Insya Allah, Indonesia in 2045 can truly be filled with a golden generation that loves the nation and country and can even realise the ideals of an independent Indonesia,” he stated.
HNW opened the LCC Empat Pilar MPR RI 2026 at the West Kalimantan provincial level in Pontianak on Saturday (9/5). In his speech, HNW recalled the services of Sultan Hamid II, a figure from West Kalimantan, in designing the national emblem.
“Therefore, I strongly support the proposal from West Kalimantan to bestow the title of national hero on Syarif Abdul Hamid Alkadrie,” said HNW.
He also invited the youth of West Kalimantan to work hard to achieve victory, following in the footsteps of Sultan Hamid II. That victory is not just winning the competition, but also in practising the four pillars of nationality.
