The Indonesian Association of Industrial Estates (HKI) assesses that President Prabowo Subianto’s foreign diplomacy has resulted in significant investment commitments to accelerate national industrial downstreaming. HKI General Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Special Economic Zones, Industrial Estates, and National Strategic Projects Division of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin), Akhmad Ma’ruf Maulana, in a statement confirmed in Jakarta on Monday, expressed appreciation for the President’s active steps during state visits to various countries. Ma’ruf revealed that the President’s success in garnering investment commitments from several countries such as the United Arab Emirates, the United States, Japan, and South Korea represents a significant achievement that will directly impact the strengthening of downstreaming and national energy resilience. “The President has worked extraordinarily by taking the initiative abroad; we highly appreciate it,” he said.
