HK, RI as Asia saviours

SYDNEY (Reuters): Construction group Leighton Holdings Ltd
said yesterday it believed it had weathered the worst of the Asia
economic storm and that Hong Kong government and Indonesia mining
projects would help future growth.

"We believe we've got the situation covered," Leighton chief
executive Wal King told reporters.

"We got a few of our tail feathers burned but we have come
through a situation that had enormous potential to do damage," he
said.
