Hisense Introduces AI-Based 'Companion Living' Concept at IFA 2026
Berlin, (ANTARA/PRNewswire) - Hisense, a leading global brand in electronics and household appliances, introduced the ‘Companion Living’ concept at IFA 2026 under the theme ‘Innovating a Brighter Life’. Through V AIOS and the AI Companion Suite, Hisense is delivering AI technology designed to support various daily activities.
V AIOS serves as the core component of this concept and represents the latest evolution of VIDAA OS. The system is designed with four primary AI-based capabilities: Sense, Think, Communicate, and Execute. Leveraging these four abilities, V AIOS can recognise people, devices, and the surrounding environment, understand user context and needs, communicate naturally with both humans and devices, and coordinate content, devices, and services to perform various tasks on behalf of the user. This combination of capabilities forms the foundation for a smarter, more intuitive, and human-oriented lifestyle.
With these AI capabilities, the AI Companion Suite brings intelligent technology to three daily activities: cooking, laundry, and air and energy management. In the kitchen, several devices can interconnect to make the cooking process more practical. By understanding user preferences, available ingredients, and the current situation, the system can coordinate refrigerators, ovens, and other appliances to provide menu recommendations and guide the cooking process. Consequently, ingredients available in the fridge can be processed into dishes that suit the user’s taste.
Regarding laundry, the technology assists users in determining the appropriate care method for each type of fabric. The system can recognise clothing materials and then adjust the washing and drying processes based on their characteristics. Meanwhile, in the living room, the UR9 acts as a hub for various smart home devices while managing comfort and energy usage. This device can adjust airflow and home conditions based on the presence of residents and the surrounding situation.
These various innovations prove that AI no longer functions merely as a feature within individual devices, but is beginning to play a more active role in helping users conduct their daily activities in a more personalised and practical manner.
Beyond introducing innovations for household needs, Hisense is also strengthening its presence in the sporting world through a partnership with UEFA EURO 202<0xC2>8. This collaboration marks Hisense’s fourth consecutive involvement in the UEFA European Championship, following its participation in the 2016, 2020, and 2024 editions. From daily activities to global sporting events, Hisense continues to drive its vision of ‘Innovating a Brighter Life’ through technology designed to bring people closer together.
