HIPMI North Maluku 2026 Extraordinary General Assembly: Candidate Registration for General Chairperson Opens

The Caretaker Team for the Extraordinary Regional Meeting (Musdalub) of the North Maluku Chapter of the Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association (BPD HIPMI) has officially opened registration for general chairperson candidates. The registration process runs from 28 to 30 May 2026, with form collection scheduled for 28 May and form submission on 30 May at 10:00 WIT. Jay Singgih, the Caretaker Team Chair for BPD HIPMI North Maluku and also the Deputy General Secretary for Energy, Environment, and Forestry at the Central HIPMI Board (BPP HIPMI) and Chair of the HIPMI Energy Task Force, stated that this Musdalub is a crucial opportunity to restructure and consolidate the organisation internally for greater progress. ‘This Musdalub is a pivotal moment to reorient and revitalise the organisation’s direction to be more progressive and innovative, fostering leadership that strengthens the role of young entrepreneurs in North Maluku to contribute to the regional economy,’ Jay Singgih said in a statement on Wednesday (27/05/2026). He added that all qualified HIPMI North Maluku cadres are welcome to register. ‘The Musdalub is not merely a selection event but a consolidation forum to address organisational dynamics, ensuring internal cohesion and reshaping the organisation’s future agenda,’ he emphasised. Meanwhile, Steering Committee (SC) Chair Syaf Lessy stated that the Caretaker Team for BPD HIPMI North Maluku decided on the general chairperson candidate registration schedule during a meeting on Tuesday, 26 May 2026. ‘As per the schedule, candidate registration opens on Thursday, 28 May 2026, starting with form collection, followed by submission on Saturday, 30 May at 10:00 WIT,’ Lessy explained in a press release on Tuesday (26/05/2026). ‘The SC has set the form collection fee at IDR 100 million and submission at IDR 150 million, totalling IDR 250 million, in accordance with Article 17, Paragraph 3, Point F of Regulation PO 03 which stipulates the registration fee at IDR 250 million,’ he added. Lessy noted that after registration closes, the SC will verify the documents of Balontum before finalising the list. ‘Once all documents are verified and meet the requirements, we will officially designate them as general chairperson candidates,’ Lessy stressed. Lessy expressed hope that the registration opening would provide opportunities for all qualified HIPMI North Maluku cadres to participate in the Musdalub scheduled for 31 May 2026 in Ternate City. ‘Principally, the SC will extend opportunities to all HIPMI cadres in North Maluku who meet the criteria to run for general chairperson, as stipulated in the organisation’s bylaws and regulations,’ he said. Previously, the Caretaker Team held a Full Board Meeting (RBPL) on 15 May 2026 to initiate the Musdalub process, forming a Steering Committee (SC) and Organising Committee (OC) responsible for executing all upcoming stages.
