Hipmi National Conference Opens in Lampung, Four Chairman Candidates Present
The 18th National Conference (Munas) of the Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association (Hipmi), held in Lampung, was officially opened by President Prabowo Subianto. Four candidates for chairman (caketum) were present at the conference. The Munas is being convened to elect new leadership to replace Chairman for the 2022–2026 period, Akbar Himawan Buchari. The four candidates for the 2026–2030 term are Reynaldo Bryan, Ade Jona Prasetyo, Afi Kalla, and Anthony Leong. The conference began with a report presented by Akbar Himawan. During his remarks, he invited the Hipmi chairman candidates to be introduced to Prabowo. One by one, the candidates stood and gave a salute to Prabowo. Secretary General of Hipmi for the 2022–2026 period, Anggawira, confirmed that all four are participating in the conference process. The election will be held after the adoption of the articles of association and bylaws. The 18th Hipmi National Conference is taking place on 10–11 June 2026 at the Novotel in Bandar Lampung, under the theme ‘Synergy of Young Entrepreneurs in Building National Economic Strength’. The event was attended by more than 2,000 participants, including members of the Red and White Cabinet, Hipmi functionaries, and former Hipmi chairmen.
