HIPMI Jakarta Maintains Solidarity, Backs National Congress in Any Province
JAKARTA (ANTARA) - The Chairman of the Jakarta Regional Board of the Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association (HIPMI), Ryan Haroen, fully supports the holding of HIPMI’s 18th National Congress (Munas) in any province to maintain the organisation’s solidarity.
“The Jakarta Regional Board of HIPMI fully supports holding the national congress in any province across Indonesia. The most important thing is to maintain organisational unity and ensure the congress runs smoothly for HIPMI’s continuity,” Ryan said in a statement on Wednesday in Jakarta.
Ryan noted that dynamics emerging ahead of the congress are normal in large organisations. However, he believes all members’ energy should be directed towards strengthening the organisation and preparing for HIPMI’s future, rather than getting bogged down in internal disputes.
“HIPMI’s energy must focus on the organisation’s future, not internal disputes. HIPMI has a significant responsibility to prepare young entrepreneurs capable of addressing future economic challenges,” Ryan said.
He emphasised that the Jakarta Regional Board fully supports the Central Board’s (BPP) decisions regarding the congress, including its location.
Ryan viewed the congress as an opportunity to strengthen regional consolidation, enhance collaboration among members, and clarify the organisation’s direction in tackling national economic challenges.
He said HIPMI must continue to uphold unity as a home for Indonesia’s young entrepreneurs.
“HIPMI must remain a robust, mature organisation capable of generating significant ideas for Indonesia’s economic progress,” he added.
The 18th HIPMI National Congress is scheduled to take place in Lampung Province on 10 June 2026, with the main agenda being the election of a new Central Board Chairman for the 2026-2029 term.
