HIPMI Encourages Business Ecosystem Certainty Amid Global Pressures
JAKARTA - Indonesia’s Young Entrepreneurs Association (HIPMI) Greater Jakarta and HIPMI East Java have formally entered into a strategic collaboration through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen the competitiveness of young entrepreneurs amid global economic pressures. This partnership aims to establish policy certainty and expand inter-regional business networks to serve as drivers of national industry and trade.
“Young entrepreneurs today require not only motivation but also ecosystem certainty and collaborative space. With the synergy between Jakarta and East Java, we are increasingly optimistic about facing global challenges,” said HIPMI Greater Jakarta Board Chairman M. Riandy Haroen during the signing ceremony at Menara Peninsula Hotel, Jakarta, on Monday (2 March 2026).
The collaboration encompasses the development of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), cooperatives, entrepreneurship, and the infrastructure, property, and investment sectors. The primary focus of this synergy is to ensure young business operators have a solid foundation for business expansion amid fluctuating international market conditions.
Haroen noted that support from the DKI Jakarta and East Java provincial governments serves as a crucial foundation for building confidence amongst HIPMI members. Through clear legal frameworks, young entrepreneurs are expected to be more decisive in making investment decisions and strengthening business operations across both regions.
