Hino's New Logo to Launch in April 2026, First Change in 32 Years
Hino Motors Ltd. will revise its corporate logo for the first time in 32 years, effective from 1 April 2026. The previous logo has been in use since 1994. This change is taking place amid transformations in the commercial vehicle industry increasingly influenced by CASE technologies, digitalisation, and globalisation. Hino is also entering a new phase with the appointment of a new CEO and joining the ARCHION Group. Quoting from the Hino Global website, the logo revision retains the old concept as an “unwavering partner” but with a more modern appearance. The new design is claimed to enhance visibility and readability, particularly on digital platforms. Additionally, the curved elements reflect an integrated distribution system, while the mutually attracting shapes symbolise harmony between technology and the environment. These values are preserved in the latest version. In this update, reflective ornaments are removed to produce a simpler design. Hino is also unifying several logo variations into one identity to make it more easily recognisable. Implementation of the new logo will be carried out gradually starting in April 2026. However, the emblems affixed to vehicles will not change.
