Jakarta (ANTARA) - At the Gaikindo Indonesia International Commercial Vehicle (GIICOMVEC) 2026 exhibition, PT Hino Motors Sales Indonesia (HMSI) launched the Hino Bus 136 MDBL 4x4 to meet business needs in challenging terrains. “Through the introduction of this latest Hino Bus 136 MDBL 4x4 unit, we aim to provide safe and reliable transportation solutions for plantation or mining companies to support worker mobility in operational areas with heavy terrain,” said HMSI Vice President Director Alex Sutisna at JIEXpo, Kemayoran, Jakarta, on Wednesday. This commercial vehicle is intended for heavy areas such as plantations and mines to transport workers from dormitories or offices to operational sites with challenging terrain conditions. To further enhance comfort during use, the Hino Bus 136 MDBL 4x4 is equipped with front stabilisers and a wider front wheel track to improve vehicle stability and reduce body roll, as well as high ground clearance to safely navigate rough, steep, rocky, and uphill roads. For its engine compartment, the vehicle is powered by the N04C engine meeting Euro4 standards; the Hino Bus 136 MDBL 4x4 is also designed for intensive operation up to 24 hours in demanding work environments. Meanwhile, in the light-duty truck segment, Hino also showcased the 300 Series 136 MDLR, designed to support efficient distribution mobility across various cargo sectors. Alex added that Hino consistently understands that every vehicle plays a crucial role in maintaining customer business operations. Therefore, the company continues to introduce reliable commercial vehicle solutions tailored to the needs of various industrial sectors. “Through such support, Hino aims to be part of our customers’ business journey while driving national transportation and the economy, in line with the spirit of Hino for Indonesia, the Mover of the Nation’s Transportation,” said Alex.
